Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of cleaning services provided by YassClean LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. By booking or receiving services, you agree to the terms below.
1. Service Area
We currently serve residential and commercial clients in the following counties of Northern New Jersey:
- Morris County
- Sussex County
- Warren County
- Passaic County
- Essex County
2. Services Provided
Our services include:
- Standard and deep cleaning (residential & commercial)
- Limited pressure washing
- Optional laundry transfer (start and transfer only – no folding or putting away)
- Bed linen changes (clean bedding must be provided)
Not included:
- Organizing (unless subcontracted separately)
- Exterior window cleaning
- Folding or putting away laundry
- Heavy furniture or valuables
- Clutter removal
- Biohazard cleanup (e.g. mold or unsafe conditions)
- Carpet or upholstery shampooing
- Cleaning areas above step-stool height without a client-provided ladder
We reserve the right to refuse service under unsafe or unsanitary conditions.
3. Supplies & Equipment
YassClean provides all standard cleaning supplies and equipment. If the client requests or provides alternative products, YassClean is not responsible for any damage resulting from their use and does not guarantee results with products our team has not been trained on.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide:
- Access to water and electricity
- Entry instructions if not home (key, lockbox, or access code)
- A safe, climate-controlled environment
- Clear, decluttered surfaces for cleaning
- Accurate alarm system codes, if applicable
If we cannot access the home within 30 minutes of arrival, the full price will be charged.
If providing a key or access code, the client assumes responsibility for its accuracy. Keys will be stored securely and will not be returned by mail. YassClean is not liable for false alarm fees if codes are incorrect or not provided.
5. Pet Policy
We love pets! However, for the safety of our team and your animals, all pets must be secured during service. YassClean staff will not clean:
- Pet waste, litter boxes, or diaper pails
- Pet beds or crates
- Areas contaminated by animal accidents
We reserve the right to leave the premises if a pet displays aggressive behavior. A cancellation fee will apply in this event.
6. Safety & Access Limitations
For the safety of our team:
- Staff will not climb above step-stool height without a client-provided ladder (maximum 8 ft reach)
- Staff will not move items exceeding 25 lbs
- We do not pull out large appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers)
- In-home temperatures must be comfortable for labor — service may be refused in extreme heat or cold, and a cancellation fee will apply
7. Payment Terms
- Payment is due at the time of service
- We allow a 3-day grace period before a $25 late fee is added
- Card on file is required
- We accept credit/debit cards, ACH, cash, and Venmo (@yassclean)
- We do not accept checks
- Tipping is never required but always appreciated — tips can be left in cash or added via your booking platform
Refund Policy:
YassClean does not offer monetary refunds for completed services. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 24 hours to schedule a complimentary touch-up of the specific areas in question.
8. Rate Changes & Price Adjustments
Rates for recurring service are guaranteed for 12 months from your start date. YassClean reserves the right to adjust pricing with 14 days' written notice. If service is discontinued and later restarted after a gap of 60 or more days, the original rate is no longer guaranteed and a new rate may apply.
9. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will incur a $50 fee
- Rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice is treated as a cancellation
- No-shows or failure to provide access will be charged the full service amount
- If a recurring service is cancelled after the first visit, the initial cleaning will be retroactively billed at the one-time deep clean rate
- Three consecutive cancellations or no-shows may result in account termination
10. Satisfaction Guarantee & Damages
- We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee
- Touch-ups must be requested within 24 hours of service completion
- We are insured up to $1M
Damage Claims:
- Damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion with supporting photos
- YassClean reserves the right to repair or replace damaged items at our discretion
- We are not liable for damage caused by normal wear, pre-existing conditions, or improperly secured items
- Liability for any single incident is limited to the lesser of the item's depreciated value or the cost of the service provided
11. Valuables & Pre-Existing Damage
Items of significant monetary or sentimental value — including fine art, antiques, jewelry, collectibles, and electronics — should be secured or removed from cleaning areas prior to service. YassClean is not liable for damage to items that are improperly secured, previously damaged, or not properly attached (e.g., loose wall hangings, unstable décor). Clients are responsible for securing money, credit cards, and personal documents.
12. Health & Safety Notifications
Clients must notify YassClean at least 24 hours before a scheduled visit if anyone in the household is experiencing symptoms of an infectious illness. YassClean reserves the right to cancel or reschedule under such circumstances without penalty.
13. Privacy & Data
We collect basic customer data and use third-party platforms and cookies for analytics and performance. We do not sell or share your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
14. Booking Platform
We use Fieldd for service bookings and communication. Additional terms may apply to future membership programs or bundled service packages.
15. Legal Terms
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey
- Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided
- Disputes may be resolved via arbitration or NJ courts
Employee Non-Solicitation:
Clients agree not to directly hire, solicit, or engage any current or former YassClean employee for a period of 12 months following their last service. Violation of this provision will result in a referral fee of $2,500.
Entire Agreement:
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between YassClean and the client. No oral or written modifications are valid unless agreed to in writing by YassClean.
Severability:
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
